A few things to know
Frequently asked questions
Is the platform available yet?
Not yet. This is a preview of the product direction, with no announced launch date. The early-access form is a demonstration and does not register or store your details.
What will the first version include?
The first release focuses on tutors working with existing students: classes, invitations, recurring sessions, attendance, tuition tracking, notes, homework, corrections and feedback, with parents kept informed. Discovery, public profiles and reviews are planned for later.
Who is it for?
Private tutors, students and parents, starting in Malta. The wider platform is being designed for one-to-one and group lessons, online and in person, from school subjects to adult learning.
I already have students. How do I bring them in?
You invite them: by email or by the student’s handle, or by sharing a class code they join with. Either way, both sides approve before a student is enrolled. For a student under 13, a parent completes the signup and gives consent. There’s no roster to type up. Every student has their own account, and a student who already learns with another tutor on the platform uses the same one.
What does ‘verified tutor’ mean?
The planned directory will only list tutors who complete the platform’s verification process. The checks and review policy are still being defined. Identity, qualifications and suitability to work with minors are separate checks; a badge must not imply a guarantee of safety or results.
Will students and parents need a subscription?
Student and parent accounts will be free. Tutors will pay €13 a month or €130 a year, VAT included, with €4 a month for each extra tutor once team accounts arrive. A yearly plan can be refunded in full within 14 days. Lesson fees are separate and are set by each tutor. Optional paid promotion will be a separate add-on.
How do families pay for lessons?
Each tutor has their own way. Families can pay by card, directly from the platform, with the money going straight to the tutor’s own account, or by Bank Transfer, Mobile Pay or Cash. If paid directly from the platform, the payment is settled automatically; otherwise, the tutor marks it as paid themselves. Tutors can charge per session or for a monthly block. The platform never holds tuition and takes no cut of lesson fees. Card payments for a student under 16 come from a linked parent.
What do tutors get for joining the waitlist?
Free access to the beta, at no cost for as long as it runs, and a direct way to report bugs and suggest features and design improvements. If you take part in the beta, your first 30 days of subscription after it are free once you add a card. Tutors who join later get a 7-day free trial. Paid plans will be €13 a month or €130 a year, VAT included. Your classes, students and records carry over from the beta. The beta starts with students aged 13 and over, who pay you directly by bank transfer, Mobile Pay or cash. Younger students, parent accounts and card payments through the platform follow later. Beta dates haven’t been set, and registration isn’t open yet: this page previews the form without collecting details.
